Infant & Toddler Teacher
Location: Riverside, CA 92508
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Compensation: $18.00–$19.00 per hour

Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Infant & Toddler Teacher who meets California Title 22 requirements. The ideal candidate will have a heart for young children, excellent communication skills with parents and staff and a passion for creating meaningful learning experiences during their most formative years.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide loving, attentive care for children ages 6 weeks – 2 years
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that support social-emotional, physical, and cognitive growth
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom in full compliance with Title 22 and licensing standards
- Build positive, trusting relationships with families and maintain open, professional communication
- Track developmental milestones and assist in child assessments
- Collaborate with teammates and participate in ongoing training and staff meetings
- Follow center policies, routines, and health & safety procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 12 ECE semester units required, including the 4 core courses:
- Child Growth & Development
- Child, Family & Community
- Curriculum Course #1 (e.g., Principles & Practices of ECE)
- Curriculum Course #2 (e.g., Creative Activities / Programs & Curriculum)
- 3 units must be Infant/Toddler units
- Strong parent and team communication skills and professionalism
- Experience in a licensed child-care setting (6+ months preferred)
- Must be 18+ years old
- Pediatric CPR & First Aid (or willing to obtain)
- Negative TB test & health screening clearance
- Live Scan fingerprint clearance
- Mandated Reporter training certificate (online option available)
- Must have reliable transportation
